Hayfield appoints new MD

Hayfield Homes has promoted former Operations Director, Mark Morris to Managing Director. Morris will take over the current MD Mark Booth’s position, as he becomes chairman.

Morris has worked alongside Booth since 2006, when he joined Banner Homes. Following CALA’s acquisition of Banner Homes in 2014, Morris became Construction Director at various housebuilders, until joining Hayfield in 2018.

The change will allow for Booth to focus on Hayfield’s parent company, Real Estate Capital Holdings.

The business hope to surpass their target of £100 million revenue for this year, almost doubling turnover in 2021, due to “remarkable” sales during the first four months of the year which they now have produced an £82 million order book.

Not only this but they are set to deliver more than 300 homes at eight “eco-friendly” schemes.

Booth said: “The timing is right for us to acknowledge the vital role Andy Morris plays in driving this business forward day in day out. He has recently recruited a senior team of highly experienced construction professionals, enabling him to progress to the role of managing director.

“The whole company is behind this internal promotion, and it will enable me to invest more time in the continued growth and diversification of Real Estate Capital Holdings, which is Hayfield’s parent company.”

Morris commented: “Our exceptional family homes located in prime semi-rural locations wholeheartedly respond to what today’s aspirational buyers want, resulting in today’s formidable order book value. Most of our homes are reserved several months in advance of completion.

“I am delighted to become managing director of this brilliant business and relish the challenge of working towards our goal of delivering 500 homes a year.”
