Joseph Homes to build 1,500 homes in Gravesend

Joseph Homes has secured permission for a 1,500 waterside regeneration project based in Gravesend, Kent. JTP Architects designed the Albion Waterside project, which was approved last week by Gravesham council.

The scheme will deliver a mix of affordable, later living, built to rent and open market sale housing and 65% of the brownfield site will be allocated for open space to provide better cycle routes and access to the river.

Craig Carson, development director at Joseph Homes, said he was thrilled by the decision, while Ian Fenn, partner at JTP said the site offered huge potential to “transform an underused industrial area into a thriving new riverside neighbourhood […] marking this important location on the River Thames”.
