Bewley continues to push through to meet expansion plans in order to support their 3-year strategy plan to grow the business in excess of £200 million.
Compared to 2020, last year the housebuilders turnover went from £84.4 million to £156 million, one of their best years to date, with a group profit increase to 115% and over 400 sale completions last year.
Bewley experienced high demand for their homes across the Home Counties and its ‘Garden Village Collection’ that used engaging street scenes to encourage potential buyers. Bringing innovation and creativity to the forefront of their business, as well as establishing a consistent approach to land buying and securing planning permissions, with the intent of forging many successful ventures.
The new office that opened up in Swindon aims to extend their geographical area along with the expansion of their land team, the housebuilder looks to attain more sites within the western region of the country, driving future growth through their own strategic land portfolio and new acquisitions.
Greg Locke, Bewley’s non-executive chairman, said: “I am extremely proud of our team and the record results produced in 2021.”
Andrew Brooks, MD, added: “Being privately owned with a short chain of command and excellent liquidity gives us the ability to act quickly and provides flexibility in the way we structure a transaction which, in turn enables us to build a sustainable business with a great reputation.”
