Our client, a multi-award-winning developer, is looking to strengthen their Development Team with a proactive individual who is keen to build experience across acquisitions and pre-planning development. This role suits someone with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, confident working with stakeholders both internally and externally.
As a Development Surveyor, you will help manage land-led projects from acquisition through to planning consent and delivery. You will support the delivery of commercially viable, planning-compliant schemes by coordinating due diligence, overseeing consultant input, and contributing to financial appraisals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and monitor planning applications, ensuring delivery against agreed programmes.
- Manage documentation and consultant input to meet planning, design, and technical standards.
- Assist with financial appraisals, cashflows, and risk assessments.
- Contribute to due diligence on acquisitions with input from Legal, Technical, and Commercial teams.
- Participate in site layout reviews, design evaluations, and sustainable design discussions.
- Represent the company in meetings with landowners, authorities, consultants, and agents.
