Our client is a highly regarded and award-winning and forward-thinking house builder who, with an excellent land bank and project pipeline, are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and driven Quantity Surveyor to further facilitate their ambitious growth plans.
Some of your key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare accurate cost estimates, materials and labour calculations, and develop project budgets with cashflow projections.
- Contract Preparation and Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and administer contracts, bills of quantities, and tender documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Project Monitoring: Track project costs, valuations, payments, and progress reports to maintain financial accuracy and identify variations or opportunities for savings.
- Risk and Value Management: Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, cost control, and value engineering to optimise resources and mitigate financial risks.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, funders, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure financial, contractual, and operational goals are met.
