Required background: Housebuilding
Our client is a well-established, 5-star rated housebuilder with a strong reputation for quality. With over 500 units set to be delivered this year, they’re going through a period of steady growth and are looking to bring a capable and motivated Technical Coordinator into their Southeast team. You’ll be working closely with a highly respected Technical Director who brings a broad understanding of all areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage external consultants to deliver construction documents on time and within budget
- Lead and coordinate Design-Technical meetings, recording key actions
- Review drawings and specs for compliance, buildability, and value engineering
- Coordinate and check subcontractor and supplier design information
- Attend key supplier and subcontractor meetings as needed
- Oversee distribution of design documents with Document Controller
- Ensure Building Regulations and Warranty conditions are met without delay
- Secure all necessary statutory approvals (e.g. S278, S104, S38) on time
