A well-established and growing residential developer is seeking a Development Manager to support the delivery of complex, multi-phase regeneration housing schemes.
The successful candidate will drive performance with JV partners, and ensure the smooth coordination of internal and external stakeholders across the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day relationships with JV partners, ensuring aligned objectives, timely reporting, and efficient decision-making throughout all project stages.
- Apply a sharp eye for detail across planning, legal, commercial, and delivery workstreams to safeguard project quality and mitigate risks.
- Communicate clearly and confidently across a broad range of stakeholders—internal teams, external consultants, local authorities, and JV partners.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to maintain programme momentum and meet key milestones.
- Provide concise, insightful updates to the Head of Development, ensuring senior leadership is fully informed of key risks, decisions, and opportunities.
- Work closely with land, planning, technical, commercial, and construction teams to deliver projects from acquisition through to completion.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in a development management role within residential or mixed-use schemes.
- Strong background in working with or managing JV structures.
- Excellent project coordination and multi-tasking capabilities.
- Commercially astute, with good understanding of planning, legal frameworks, and financial modelling.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including reporting into senior leadership.
