We are working with a leading contractor/developer to onboard an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for a project West of London. Ideally, we are looking for someone with a breadth of contract housing experience that can operate autonomously and manage a more junior QS.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the complete financial and contractual delivery of the development, safeguarding project budgets and maximising commercial performance.

Act as the strategic lead on-site, providing management, mentorship and clear direction to assistant and intermediate surveyors.

Manage complex packages from inception to final accounts, with a particular focus on heavy civils, demolition, piling, RC framework, basement structures and modern framing methods.

Navigate the commercial complexities of joint venture structures, ensuring transparent reporting and alignment with all stakeholders.

Identify and implement cost-saving mechanisms and efficient construction techniques without compromising on quality or safety.

Proactively manage sub-contractor accounts, conduct comprehensive remeasurements and deliver constructive performance feedback to the supply chain.
