We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading residential developer on a temp-to-perm basis. This role offers the chance to manage a traditional build housing development, overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality residential homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all on-site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
• Oversee a busy site environment with multiple trades and subcontractors working across various stages of the build programme.
• Monitor progress against project schedules and take proactive measures to maintain programme targets.
• Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are adhered to at all times.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship meets company and industry standards.
• Liaise effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and senior management.
• Manage site logistics, labour resources, and materials to maintain efficient site operations.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within the residential construction sector.
• Extensive experience delivering traditional build housing developments.
• Previous employment with a well-established and recognised residential developer is highly desirable.
• Demonstrable track record of managing busy residential sites with multiple trades.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, health and safety legislation, and quality standards.
• Evidence of career stability and longevity, with sustained periods of employment with previous employers.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Essential Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
• First Aid at Work Certificate
