We have an excellent opportunity for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a newly established commercial team on a major, high-profile multi-phase residential development in Milton Keynes.
The scheme will deliver circa 4,500 new homes and represents one of the most significant housing developments in the region. You will initially be working on Phase 1, consisting of 190 traditional build units, with further phases programmed to commence from 2026 onwards.
Currently at foundations stage, this role offers the chance to be involved from an early point in the project lifecycle, providing excellent exposure and long-term continuity of work.
The Role
Working as part of the commercial team, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with cost management and financial control of the project
- Procurement of subcontract packages
- Valuations, variations and cost reporting
- Working closely with site teams to ensure commercial performance
- Supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager as required
About You
- 1–2 years’ experience at Intermediate Quantity Surveyor level
- Experience working on large volume residential housing schemes (traditional build preferred)
- Background with a recognisable contractor or developer
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Ambitious, driven and keen to progress to Senior Quantity Surveyor level in the coming years
