We have partnered design-led residential developer who is entering an exciting phase of strategic growth, expanding its portfolio of high-quality, characterful schemes across the South West.
As the Senior Technical Manager will play a central role in shaping the technical function as the business grows, overseeing the full technical delivery of bespoke developments.
With the company expanding, this position offers significant headroom: the successful candidate will have a clear pathway into a more senior leadership role as the technical team develops.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Manager or Senior Technical Manager within the residential development or housebuilding sector – SME Experience is essential.
- Strong background in managing architectural and engineering design through all stages, from planning to handover.
- Ability to lead consultants, challenge design solutions and ensure technical information is delivered accurately and on time.
- Experience working on smaller, high-quality or design-led developments is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of building regulations, planning policy, NHBC and CDM requirements.
- Confident in problem-solving complex site constraints such as levels, drainage, utilities and heritage or conservation considerations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the presence to influence at senior level.
