Required background: Housebuilding
Our client are a well-established housebuilder in the North West of England, looking for a driven and ambitious Land Buyer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in sourcing and securing land for residential development.
The Role:
- Identify and acquire land opportunities for residential development.
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies to assess potential sites.
- Negotiate land deals and manage the acquisition process from initial enquiry to completion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, agents, and local authorities.
- Work closely with the planning and development teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- Experience in land acquisition, ideally within a housebuilder or property development company.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- A good understanding of the UK planning system and land appraisal processes.
- Ability to manage multiple land opportunities and work to tight deadlines.
- A proactive and commercially minded approach to identifying new sites.
