We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cost Planner to join a reputable London-based developer on a freelance basis.
In this role, you will be supporting the pre-construction team across a diverse portfolio of residential schemes. You must have proven experience delivering cost plans for both high-rise RC frame developments and housing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost plans and estimates across multiple projects
- Work closely with design, planning, and commercial teams
- Assess feasibility, provide budget advice, and support value engineering
- Analyse subcontractor pricing, benchmarks, and market trends
- Assist in early-stage procurement strategies
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in cost planning for high-rise RC frame and housing projects
- Strong understanding of construction methods and pre-construction processes
- Proficient in relevant cost planning software (e.g., CostX, Excel)
- Ability to manage workload across multiple schemes
- Self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
