A respected residential developer with a strong reputation for delivering high quality RC Frame residential projects across Greater London is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business at a key point in their growth, taking the lead commercial role on a large-scale, 1300-unit development.
The Role
As the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of this long-term scheme, which is due for completion in 2034. You will manage a team of five Quantity Surveyors (at varying levels of experience) and report directly to senior leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the commercial function on site, from procurement through to final account.
- Managing and mentoring a team of Quantity Surveyors.
- Working closely with internal departments to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor on large residential schemes.
- Strong understanding of RC Frame construction and the residential development process.
- Leadership skills and the ability to support and develop a commercial team.
- Comfortable working on a long-term project with clear commercial goals and structure.
