Required background: Housebuilding
This unique opportunity is ideal for an ambitious and driven Head of Technical. You could be part of an established board in the future, or an existing Director looking to transition to this entrepreneurial SME.
Your strong planning knowledge and engineering background, including section agreements, will be crucial in driving adoptions before commencement. You will initially focus on new schemes and a pipeline of land to supplement them.
Key responsibilities:
- Advise the Land team on the technical viability when obtaining new sites.
- Ensure planning permissions and approvals on agreements are completed within a timely manner.
- Manage the function and ensure external consultants are briefed on the product whilst monitoring build costs and specifications.

- Ability to deliver under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate and negotiate effectively
- Experience working within an SME or PLC housebuilder delivering low-rise traditional housing
- Exposure to partnership schemes and agreements
- Hands-on and agile thinker
- A solutions-led individual
